Soon as the inspection was done we ordered 40 sheets of 5/8 stick sheet rock, 40 gallons of all-purpose plaster, 5 gallons of joint topping for the smooth wall application, especially where the drywall finishers needed to apply heavier thickness because of joint stud leverage imperfections, we had to order self tapping metal screws, fiberglass mesh drywall tape, and last but not least plastic to cover the bamboo flooring material which was left behind on damage from the heavy flooding and storm through drainage and septic.

 Removing popcorn ceiling scraping done using a scraper customized by two installers, it definitely called for contractor bags to get rid of the debris, moreover there was no asbestos in the ceiling the building was built in the late 1980s confirmed by building inspectors, the acoustic spray ceiling texture was no longer needed, the homeowner basically wanted an orange peel knockdown texture versus popcorn.
